Great machine. Very accurate and precise. No set up needed, just assemble the pull arm. The machine comes with everything
needed to start making mortises with different size bits right from the box. Also came with the extention to raise the height of the head for larger stock. Very quite and with almost no vibration. The new and improved ajustable fence is a plus, and also the chisel holder is great.....Great tools to have!!!

DELTA Deluxe Hollow Chisel Mortiser

Model 14-651. The Delta hollow chisel mortiser is much easier to operate, faster, and more accurate than a conventional drill press equipped with a mortising attachment. The unit features a powerful 1/2 HP 120V induction motor for smooth operation. The three-jaw chuck has a 3/8" capacity, so it positively grips mortising bits. Easy three-sided access to the chuck, for changing bits, is made possible by a large u-shaped front door. Rack and pinion head adjustment as well as rack and pinion fence with adjustable hold-downs make for easy set-up and operation. The large cast iron base and table provide stability for all mortising operations. The head assembly rotates 180 degrees for off-table mortising jobs. Includes chuck key, height attachment which increases capacity to 5-3/4" under hold-down, 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" 1/2" chisel & bits, tool holder and manual.
